As someone who values frequent communication, I was impressed with how accessible they were - texts, weekly email updates, and the project spreadsheet with cost breakdowns and refreshed as the costs incurred - you'll feel like they're on top of it and you will be too. During covid, I sensed their commitment to safety. We loved working with them and loving the results, too. Our previously unfinished basement is forever transformed for the better. We added a bedroom, bathroom, workout room, a sauna, and a recreational room. Everything turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier!!"

"Over the past 20 years of living in our house we have used various contractors to complete large remodeling projects. We just used KJB Homes for our most recent one, converting our porch in to a finished office/studio space. Hands down, KJB is the best contractor that we've ever worked with. They were incredibly transparent and thorough in their bid process and scope of work, the project ran on time and without any issues that would have been in their control, they were flexible, and the quality of their work was phenomenal. We loved working with Katy and KJB Homes. We have done several remodeling projects over the years and recognize the value of a general contractor with good communications skills - with both the customer and the sub-contractors involved in the project. Katy has exactly this as well as having an eye for design elements that may escape the average homeowner. She was in constant contact with us about the project and alerting us to potential issues every step of the way (and always quick to respond to our questions as well!).
