So many residents of southwest Minneapolis never want to leave; when your kids grow up here, you love your neighbors, and all of your best memories reside in the walls of your home, you may decide to just stay forever! This house was updated to accommodate a lifestyle change for the long time owners who do indeed want to stay forever, and were ready to bring their vision for some modern improvements to life. It contains all the best kinds of bells and whistles, including a rear, full foundation 1-1/2 story addition complete with sun room on the main floor that walks onto to a covered porch and out into a beautifully landscaped backyard with pollinator garden. It also includes a sweeping, private owner's suite upstairs, a formal living room and separate great room with mid century kitchen and secondary suite on the main, and a fully finished basement. It was an honor to be part of creating this sanctuary for our clients from the design phase all the way through completion.
