Sometimes, a kitchen is just in need of a complete "redo" in an existing space to fix historic pain points: old, dysfunctional cabinet shelving, drawers that get stuck, lack of pantry space, island that's too small, and appliances in need of replacement. This kitchen was a perfect candidate for a complete cosmetic glow up that included a few fun upgrades spanning other parts of the main floor as well. The larger, re-positioned island with deeper, double sided cabinets and greater walkbys create an even, functional flow, and the hidden pantry added underneath the stairway was a fun feature to design and implement for this space. The refinished wood floors throughout the main level, small powder room update, and added dry bar in the existing dining room are the cherries on top of a smart, functional and aesthetically beautiful re-design.
